Eligibility Criteria / पात्रता मापदंड

• Essential Qualification / अनिवार्य योग्यता:
  - B.E./B.Tech in Civil or relevant field with minimum CGPA 6.5 or 60% marks
  - M.E./M.Tech/M.Sc in related field such as Atmospheric Science, Meteorology, Earth Science, Water Resources Engineering
  - OR B.E./B.Tech with valid GATE/NET score with minimum CGPA 8.0 or 75% marks
• Desirable / वांछनीय योग्यता:
  Knowledge of GIS & RS, MATLAB, AI-ML techniques, Climate Change studies, report and publication writing.

Salary / वेतन

Selected candidate will receive a stipend of Rs. 31,000/- per month plus 20% HRA as per rules for a tenure of up to 3 years.

चयनित उम्मीदवार को मासिक 31,000/- रुपये वेतन एवं 20% HRA भत्ते के साथ 3 वर्षों तक परियोजना के लिए रोजगार मिलेगा।

Selection Process / चयन प्रक्रिया

Candidates will be shortlisted based on application and called for an interview. The interview date and details will be communicated individually.

• This position is purely contractual for the project duration. No regular appointment will be given after the project.

• Selected candidate may enrol in the Ph.D. program as per institute rules.
• Incomplete applications will be rejected.
• Decision of Director, NIT Srinagar will be final.
