About NIT Calicut Project Associate - I Recruitment 2025
NIT Calicut invites applications for the post of Project Associate - I under a research contract on a contractual basis. Selected candidates will initially be engaged for one year, with a possible extension till May 2028 based on performance and funding availability. This position offers candidates with exceptional credentials an opportunity to pursue PhD admission at NIT Calicut.

Eligibility Criteria (पात्रता मानदंड)
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Production, Manufacturing Engineering or related disciplines with First Class from a recognized university.
- Good understanding of additive manufacturing processes and finite element modelling is desirable.
- Valid GATE score in relevant disciplines is preferred but not mandatory.

₹ 37,000 per month + 20% HRA for candidates having valid GATE score in Mechanical or Production & Industrial Engineering disciplines.
₹ 30,000 per month + 20% HRA for other eligible candidates.

The selection will be done in two phases:
